Science 2061 standards-based*, curriculum modules and units build the knowledge, understanding, and problem-solving skills required for the 21st century. These hands-on, minds-on modules are available in two formats: Performance Learning and Understanding Science (PLUS) Program units and Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics - Curriculum Integration Program (STEM-CIP) modules.
PLUS units (available for K-8) engage students in stimulating, authentic, and contemporary problem-based science scenarios.
STEM-CIP modules (available for grades 3-8) engage students in stimulating, authentic, and contemporary problem-based STEM scenarios that exploit the natural connections between science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
* Standards - PLUS units are aligned to National Science Education Standards (NSES) and Benchmarks for Scientific Literacy (AAAs). STEM-CIP modules are aligned to National Science Education Standards, National Council of Teacher of Mathematics (NCTM), National Education Technology Standards for Students (ISTE), and the International Technology Education Association (ITEA).
